Hey all, Ti's me Vix,
I'm a local lass, grew up in Aberlour, joined the Army to see the world at 16yrs unfortunately was medically discharged after 3 an a bit years, and even tho i didn't get to see much of the world just the UK i enjoyed the majority of my time in.
After coming home with a Son (Harry) I decided cutting hair was way forward, attended and trained in hairdressing at Moray College for 3yrs in Elgin and took on a Barber apprenticeship at Raymond's Barbers on Clifton Road Lossiemouth. Where i stayed for 7yrs working my way from a Trainee to Manager to Trainer, i genuinely love my chosen career, i will say it's not a job when your doing something you love, and I actually find it very theraputic cutting hair.
It was there all them years ago i met my now husband Dunk (Duncan or you guys may know him as Chief Sgt Moffat over at Cammo on Posiedon). After 4yrs dating, majority of that doing Long distance, him travelling back here every weekend from nr Blackpool and finally moving in together, shortly before Raf Kinloss closed, He got his posting notice through for RAF Coningsby, so like many, we rushed the wedding date forward and got married and moved down to Digby where we had a gorgeous wee girl, posting moves got us back up to Leuchars for a wee while and then back to Lossie, which is where we have been now for 10yrs living over on the patch, I love it here, so much so, i feel i can finally call somewhere home!
As I mentioned i have 2, cant really call them children anymore as A there both taller than me and B both are quite the individuals who majority of time can look after themselves, yet both find it hilarious to carry on and wind me up, Elliotte she's 12yrs going on 15, those teenage phase years have nothing on her, she has just started S1 in highschool this year and Harry he's 24 and is a Brick Masonor with D&A of Elgin he has moved out now tho and has his own wee flat with the lovely Lana (girl from Costa).
I have 2 Dogs, a 4yr old male Collie called Milo and a 10yr old inherited male Chuahua called Gizmo also 1 male Cat 6yrs called Oscar
I was diagnosed at 27yrs with ADHD and have recently "bitten the bullet" as they say and started medication, yes i feel loads better in myself and my ability to focus on tasks is brilliant, however side effect of meds is i can be very chatty, so really i am in the perfect job for me!
My hobbies include Crafting, Digital art, Reading, and working on the new caravan, and chilling out watching films on Netflix⁷
